Submit your ways to god!

“In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”     (Proverbs 3:6)
Dearly beloved, our ways are before the eyes of the Lord. The Bible says, “For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all your paths” (Proverbs 5:21). It is because He examines each of our ways, it is said “In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:6). When you prioritize to seek the word of God for every decision you make in life, our God is faithful to lead you and make your paths straight.

Many years ago, I had gone to a country which was ruled by a dictator. While travelling to any part of that country, within every two to three miles I would be able to find a banner with the photograph of the dictator. The people of that country were afraid of that dictator. I went to a church there, and in general, if we go to any church, we can find pictures of Jesus Christ. But in that church, there also was a photograph of that dictator. Then I got to know it was an order of that conceited dictator to have his photograph in the church. The people of the place told that it would not be possible for them to run the church without these requirements been met.
Such things could be done with fear and compulsion of one man. But our loving Lord will not dismay you; His commands are with great love for us. Yes, He loved us so much that, on the same night when He was betrayed, 'He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me. In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you".'

Yes, my beloved, by remembering our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us (Hebrews 12:1). He is not a dictatorial God, but He is the one who has suffered for you and me on the cross to save this mankind. The Bible says, “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). What a wonderful God, we have! Today, let us commit ourselves to God, who cares about us. Let us remember the Lord every moment of our life which He has gifted us with, on earth. When you pray unto Him; saying "Lord, only you know how to guide me in the right way. Please lead me in your way.” Then the "Lord will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; He will counsel you with His loving eye on you" (Psalm 32:8).

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,

Strengthen me and guide me in life. My heart flows with gratitude and love when I think of Your love for me and that You will answer me whenever I call on You. Lord, instruct me and teach me the way I should go. You are a God of love and I pray that You would fill my heart with Your love. Draw me close to You, guide me and bless me. In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen.
