The Righteous Will Live By Faith!

Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
05 Dec
Abraham, the godly man chosen by God Himself lived a righteous life by faith (Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38). His fervent faith on the God enabled him to have a child in a miraculous way, though he and his wife had crossed the age of bearing a child. His life of faith is a good example for all of us. Today, is there any blessing lacking in your life? Are you waiting for the desired blessing from the Lord? Let us consecrate our lives to Jesus to walk in His ways. And then He will make us righteous according to the measure of our faith and grant the blessings. Be blessed in everything.
A couple started their married life with happiness and spent their time delightfully. They would reply, “Things will happen at the due time” whenever someone asked them, “Are you still without a child?” They always gave some simple excuses and lived without care. Years passed by and only then, did they become apprehensive. Now, they realized the truth that “God alone is the giver of blessings and it is impossible to live without Him.” They began to seek the Lord with great devotion, by reading the Bible, praying, attending prayer meetings and participating in church activities. They prayed, saying, “Lord! We praise You for forgiving our ignorance and accepting us as Your children. We have the faith that You will meet our needs too.” The Lord heard their prayers and gifted them with a child. Moreover, He blessed them with all His goodness and made them His true witnesses.

Dearly beloved! Do you have such shortcomings in your life, this day? Are you living a life of your own desire, without seeking the Lord? Have you parodied the miraculous works of the Lord and fallen short of the faith in the Lord? Examine yourself today! The people of Israel tested the Lord several times. However, God provided the Israelites everything they needed and fulfilled their heart’s desires. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6). Trust the Lord with all your heart, even at times of difficulty. He is God of wonders. Just confess, “My LORD will perfect that which concerns me” (Psalm 138:8).  The Lord will bless you with good things today according to your faith and make you live happily.
Prayer:
Loving Father!
By Your grace, give me the faith that I need and fill me with all Your bountiful blessings. Lord, you have always done great things in my life. I will never forget that and will thank you all through my life. Enable me to be faithful to all your marvellous deeds.
In the matchless and loving name of our Lord Jesus I pray, O Father, Amen.
