Belief In His Promises

We read about the greatness of God in the Bible, which says, “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” (Numbers 23:19). A man may say something today and change their stance, the very next moment. He manipulates as per the circumstance he is in. It is human nature. But, the Lord whom we trust, remains the same forever. Whatever God says, it will come to pass without fail.

A barren woman was once living life with worries and anxieties. However, when she read the verse, quoted in Romans 4:17 “God calls into being things that were not,” her faith was stirred. She believed the verse and confessed that, though she is barren now, Jesus will change her situation. So, she shouted ‘Hallelujah’ in great excitement and continued to pray. God answered her prayer and blessed her with an adorable child, in due time.
SCRIPTURE to LIFE

In the same way, claim every promise that proceeds from the Lord. Receive those promises in your life by faith. When you do so, God will undoubtedly lead you in His ways. What a wonderful God we serve! He keeps His covenant forever, as we read in “The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

God is faithful in all His promises. So, hold on to His promises and confess it when you face any difficulty. The Lord will work miracles for you too, according to His word.
Prayer:
Loving Father, I thank you for your encouraging words. Help me to lead a Christ-centered life, holding on to your promises which are true and which will come to pass.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
