Your Companion In Solitude

Hello dear friend, it is a joy to share God’s promise with you. Today, we are meditating on Deuteronomy 31:8. This verse says, “The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you.” What a beautiful promise! God Himself will go before you and be with you. So, what do you have to fear? Many times in your life you fear because when you are in trouble you think you are alone. Even now, you may be facing lots of things that you have to go through alone – it may be a project for work, a case that is against you, or having to go to the hospital to get a report, facing something in your family, or even a fight with your friends.

You may be feeling alone, very afraid of not knowing the outcome; but my friend the Bible says in Psalm 46:1 that “Our God is an ever-present help in times of trouble.” He is with you to help you when you are in trouble. He will give you victory. What do you need to do?
According to Jeremiah 33:3 which says “Call unto Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you do not know.” You may think out many plans to make things happen, things which you can see only with my eyes; but my friend God will show you what you cannot even see, things beyond your understanding. All the answers are in Him. So, today call unto Him, and He will answer you, be with you in times of trouble, and go before you. What do you have to be afraid of? God Himself is with you, so be strong and courageous and you will have victory.
My loving Heavenly Father,

Thank You for today’s promise. Lord, I lay down all my fears at Your feet. Lord go ahead of me and straighten every crooked path. Help me to fulfill Your plan for my life and bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
