Do you want to be Built again?
Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
My dear friend, today's promise is from Isaiah 45:5, where the Lord says, "I will gird you, though you have not known Me." This promise of God is not only for King Cyrus of Persia but also for you. Although King Cyrus did not know the Lord, God blessed him for the sake of His chosen people, Israel and to build His temple and Jerusalem. In Isaiah 44:28, the Lord calls Cyrus His shepherd and says that he will carry out all that He desires. If God girded Cyrus, a foreigner, with His mighty hand, He will also gird you and me with strength. As David said in Psalm 18:32, "God who is girding me with strength, He makes my way perfect." The Lord will exalt you and give you strength, just as He did for Cyrus. As 1 Chronicles 29:12 says, "In God's hand are strength and power to exalt and to give strength to all." With God's power and strength, Cyrus ruled the whole world, and the Lord will also exalt you and help you walk in high places.
In Acts 17:6, it is said about Paul and Cyrus like this: "These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also." Yes, they had so much power and strength that they healed people, delivered the demon-possessed, and turned the world upside down. You, too, can do the same thing, my dear friend. Don't think very low of yourself. Today, the Lord has promised to gird you with His mighty power. After the Lord filled the disciples with His Holy Spirit and strengthened them, the Lord commanded them to go and make disciples of all nations. He wanted His disciples to teach others and observe everything He had commanded them. The Lord's command for us, too, is the same. We must go and reach the world, but we cannot do it on our own, my friend.
Even today, the Lord's power is coming upon you. Get up and go forth! May the Lord's divine hand guide you, guard you and teach you to restore the people of the world. His invisible hand is always around you to strengthen you, my friend. So, be strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord grant you the belt of truth, the helmet, the shoes, and all of His armour to reach out and touch the world.
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your never-ending grace. I am grateful for Your promise to gird me with Your strength so that I can be a vessel for Your glory. Despite my imperfections and weaknesses, I thank You for choosing me and always being by my side, guiding, guarding, and teaching me Your ways. Lord, I pray that You will fill me with Your Holy Spirit and strengthen me. Let Your hand be always upon me, girding me with Your armour so that I will be ready to do great and mighty things for Your glory. Help me to rise up and go forth in Your strength and power, make disciples, and bring joy to Your heart. I commit my all into Your loving hands. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
