The Lord Will Never Forsake His Own

My Dear Brother / Sister,
There may be occasions, where you felt like an outcast, a secluded person, all left to be on your own, nobody heeding to what you say. Don’t be discouraged. There is someone who is watching over you 24×7. And that is Jesus, who’s always for you, with you, no matter where you’re stuck in life. “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth,” (John 1:14). Today, I encourage you to get strengthened in life and shoulder the pain for others, just as Jesus did for you. Keep reminding yourself of this powerful verse, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you,” (1 Peter 5:7). With this hope and faith, intercede for your next-door neighbor, for someone in your family, even for your enemies. Then, sit back and see the magnificent work of our Lord. You just saved someone’s life. You transformed an obstinate person into the humblest one. God answered your prayers. God used you, His child, as an instrument to save His other children. You know what it is that God wants for His children? The simple answer is, to remain happy always. That’s the reason, He gave us His only son Jesus, to take away all our sorrows and give us joy eternal, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

That’s the reason we celebrate Christmas. A time of Joy, Hope, Love. So, rejoice in the Lord and share it with all you encounter daily.
I would like to describe the power of intercession. It, so happened that a lady who accepted Christ as her personal savior, was sobbing in prayer. During this time, the Lord reminded her of another woman. With much burden and without wasting a single minute, she went to that lady’s house. On being received in the house, she told her that she had a burden to pray for her. This lady’s countenance changed and she said, “Had you been a little late, you would have seen only my dead body.” She wanted to end her life, as she was unable to bear the troubles of her family. The godly lady then, prayed in tears for her and comforted her with God’s promise, “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken” (Psalm 55:22).

The disturbed lady rejoiced in the lord and joy flowed in her life and house. Frequent visits by the godly woman gave her a new hope to live a joyful life.

Therefore, my dear ones in Christ! Try to be that encouraging godly woman. Make a graceful speech to people; bring a smile on their face and set an example before them. Let them say for you, “I thank God for bringing you at the right time.” As, Elizabeth rejoiced and the baby leaped in her womb, on being greeted by Mary (Luke 1:41), you too should replicate the same. What a glorious moment when God’s children meet each other!
Heavenly Father,
I come before you with all my pains and sorrows. Give me the grace to overcome all my problems and make me an instrument to share your peace and joy to others in their struggles.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
