Security from all evil and danger

Dear friend, God’s promise for you today is from Psalm 9:9, “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” Yes, He is a refuge when you are going through trouble. You might be putting your trust in worldly people; your family, spouse or children but the Lord says, ‘Trust Me. I will be your refuge.’ The Bible says in Psalm 27:5, “For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”

God will conceal you in His tabernacle which means He is going to conceal you so close to Him. Nothing will be able to touch you. We know the story of how the disciples went in the boat along with Jesus. Though Jesus was there in the boat, there arose a huge storm in the sea. All the disciples were scared, but Jesus raised His hand and He stopped the winds.
In the same way, the Lord is going to come into your boat today and He is going to stop all the problems in your life. You are going to find refuge in Him. Make sure you thank God for this wonderful promise dear friend. When you make God your refuge, there can be nothing that can stand against you. Jesus has said that we will have trouble in this world but He has overcome the world, He Himself will help you overcome any and every trouble you might be facing today. Whenever troublesome times surround you, be still and know that He is God. Nobody who put their trust in Jesus has ever been disappointed. So take heart and put all your trust in Him.
Loving Father,

You are my only refuge. I forgive the people who oppress me Lord. Save me from oppression and trouble. Make all the storms in my life to become still. I give myself and my troubles into Your hands. Thank You for granting me peace.

In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
