Fulfilling God's Call in Your Life
Samuel Dhinakaran
My dear friend, we have hope today through our Lord Jesus. He is going to strengthen our body and spirit. As per Matthew 16:18, the Lord promises, "I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Today, God will build His Ministry through you, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. My friend, you may be experiencing difficulties and feeling disappointed with your ministry. Perhaps you are facing personal disappointments and find it hard to minister to others. Maybe you have been humiliated, ridiculed, or criticised for your ministry, or you lack financial support to keep going. But do not worry. The Lord says, "I will build My ministry through you. I will build My church through you."
This is what happened to God's prophet, Elijah, who was afraid for his life after hearing that the queen of his nation, Jezebel, was going to kill him. He ran away to a nearby nation and kept running for a long time until he reached the desert, where he lay down and slept under a tree. He feared that this was the end of his life and ministry. But the Lord had compassion on His servant, Elijah and sent an angel to him. The angel woke him up and said, "The Lord has provided you with bread and water. Eat, Elijah." The Lord comforted and strengthened him. Then, he saw the wonders of God. A great wind, earthquake, and fire came, but these preceded God's little whisper to Elijah. These things showed that God was there. Then Elijah heard God's little voice, a whisper, and he knew it was God. The Lord said, "Go and anoint two people as kings. Rise up from your fear, Elijah, and go anoint them." What a great destiny God had for him! What a great move God planned for him to anoint kings!
Today, the Lord is strengthening you with food, water, and all His love. He is coming to speak to you, show you His power, make you rise up with His power, and give you the mission to go forward and accomplish great things. So, my friend, the Lord is here to build His ministry through you. Do not be discouraged.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I am grateful for Your promise to build Your church and ministry through me and for Your assurance that the gates of hell will not prevail against me. Your love and Your word are all I need to be nourished. I trust that You will have compassion on me and that You will strengthen me and lift me up from my discouragements and disappointments in life. Please surround me with Your comforting presence and strengthen my body, soul, and spirit. I believe with all my heart that You have a great mission for me. I pray that I should hear Your gentle voice speaking to me so that I can rise up in divine strength and be used mightily for Your glory. Thank You for all Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
