Run The Race Set Before You

Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
09 Nov
Apostle Paul pressed on as Christ called him, and due to his faith, God did mighty miracles through him. God has called each one of us to do something for Him. According to our skills, God shares His gifts to all of us. So, when we walk in accordance with God’s will, we will be able to run our race victoriously.

When I started the ministry, I used to speak very softly so much so that each time I spoke, the Jesus Calls staff had to increase the volume of the microphone. Despite that, I was not audible to the audience. However, when I spent time in my personal prayers, I prayed loudly. My sister, once asked me “You speak softly but during prayer how is it that you pray loudly?” I felt sad, and I prayed to God, "I want to speak loudly as my husband Dr. Paul and as my father-in-law (late)Dr.D.G.S. Dhinakran and mother-in-law Sis. Stella Dhinakaran". At that time, a couple visited our house, and both of them prophesied God's word. The wife told me that she wanted to pray for me individually. She said, "You should not ask God to make you speak the way your husband and other family members speak. Because God wants to use you differently”.
SCRIPTURE to LIFE

In the same way, God has chosen everyone, and He wants to use each one of us in different, unique ways. So, no matter what you are going through, be faithful in the work God has given you, and you will receive the crown of glory that never fades away ( 1 Peter 5:4). There’s a race that you have to run alone. No human can completely help when you encounter discouragement, rejection, and failure. Only Jesus can help you and when you place your faith in Jesus, who is the author and finisher of faith; you will definitely be victorious. You cannot depend on your past achievements, and you have to start afresh every day. As the Bible says “let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith”. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father, I thank You for being with me and leading me thus far. Grant me Your grace to remain faithful in the work that you want me to do. Strengthen me to bear my cross patiently trusting that you will grant me victory.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
