Renewed Life

Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
21 Sep
Precious child of God, I greet you in the Lord’s name. Today, we are going to meditate on I Samuel 12:22. This verse says, “For the sake of His great name, the Lord will not reject His people, because the Lord was pleased to make you His own.” Titus 2:14 says Jesus gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good.

You may be following all the worldly things now - having bad habits, wasting your time, and doing all sorts of unwanted things before the Lord. However, God says He wants you to become His own! Is it possible? Yes, that is why Jesus gave His live on the Cross. If you read Romans 9:23 it says, “He did this to make the riches of His glory known to the objects of His mercy, whom He prepared in advance for glory.”
Paul was once Saul. He was a bad man. He says “I was a vessel of wrath, but in His grace, God made me a vessel of mercy.” What did Paul do to become like that? Read Galatians 2:20. In this verse, Paul says “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Today, you have to do the same thing my beloved child. Crucify yourself with Christ, then all unwanted and worldly things will fly away from your life and you will become a new person in Christ. The Lord is going to make you like that. Do you believe that you will be a different person from this moment? Then pray the following prayer with all reverence.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,

Thank you for today’s promise. Father, have mercy on me. Let the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse me. Let my sinful nature be crucified with Christ and let me be cleansed from all my unrighteousness. Renew me with your power and give me a new life, which brings glory to your name.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
