Multiplied Blessings

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
23 Feb
My precious friend, may God bless you with all his heart today. This day’s promise word is taken from Exodus 23:25: “Serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.” The Lord wants us to serve only him. Many times, the burdens of this world, problems, weakness, sins of this world, unrighteousness of this world, and the treachery of this world become very big. Because of all these, we are unable to look to God. However, The Bible says “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

What is the kingdom of God or What does the kingdom of God consist of? It is righteousness - the righteousness of God. It is peace - peace that surpasses all understanding, which only Jesus can give and not the world. It is joy - the joy of the Holy Spirit, which says anything is possible with God. Because you are God's child, He will do miracles for you and gives you joy through the Holy Spirit. These are the reasons why God wants you to serve him so that he will bless your bread and water and multiply you. So, today turn your eyes upon him.
Deuteronomy 7:13 says “He will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee.” In The Bible, we read how Jesus blessed the five loaves and two small fish, multiplied it and gave it to the people (John 6). Today, he is going to do that in your life. You may say that you have only little savings, little joy, little relationship; but God will bless and multiply it. Today, this promise will come true. Everything is going to multiply. This is exactly what happened to the widow at Zarephath. She had only little oil and a little flour left, but she gave that to the servant of God - Elijah. God multiplied the little that she had with her and made it sufficient till the end of the famine. Just like God did justice for her, he will do it for you too. God will bless you. The world may say to give you the bread of affliction, but God says that he will give you multiplied blessings and keep sickness away from you - sickness which may be caused by sin, by the germs in this world, by diseases, by the influences of the world, or by the wicked people of the world. God will keep sickness away from you.
My loving heavenly Father fulfill this promise in my life. Let your love embrace me. Lord, I have none else but you in this world. Bless me - your child. Give me multiplied blessings, remove sickness away from me and give me joy in life.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
