Jesus the deliverer!!
Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
Dear friends, Are you going through the darkness of death in your family today? Do not worry! God hears your prayers (Psalm 65: 2). He is near you. He sees your broken heart. Call unto him. Surely, He will change your situation. In Psalm 18, we read about the darkness of death. Death is terrible. There is only one who can deliver us from this terrible situation. The Lord holds the keys to death and hades (Revelation 1:18). Blessed be the God who gives us salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is in your midst to deliver those who are suffering from the darkness of death. The devil comes to kill and destroy. But the Lord has come to give us everlasting life (John 10:10). Many years ago, my father went through kidney transplantation. After the surgery, kidney started to function well. There were several surgical tubes across the body. Doctors said that they will come and meet us tomorrow. The nurses who were there to take care of my father had switched off the night lamp and went to sleep. The room was filled with scary gloom. He felt like he was in hell. The lions were roaring. Satan appeared before my father and said, “Dhinakaran your kidneys will fail.” Spirit of fear gripped him. He became too weak. Then he realized that some kind of black evil thing goes out of his body.
At that time, "An Angel appeared to him and said I am the angel of the living God. I have come from the throne of God. This kidney is God's gift to you. You will not die, you will surely live. At that time, my father was totally filled with the peace of God. When the word of the Lord was received, he was filled with new strength. Then he slept like a child. He woke up in the morning. In the next few days, the doctor said, he is totally alright. You could go home. And then his kidneys were absolutely fine for 23 years. My beloved, even today you may feel the same when darkness has surrounded you. The Psalmist says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4). The Lord is with you. He will glorify you. When you listen to the Word of God and dedicate yourself to God's will, the living God will heal you and guard you. You will receive the blessing twice as much as Job. Twice you will be honored. May God grant you these blessings on this day!
Loving Lord, I come before your throne of grace. Take away all my fear. No more fear of death. No more darkness of death. You are the mighty God who crushed the satan under your feet. Protect me from evil powers. May your mighty hand sustain me through difficult times. Give me perfect health and guard me. May your name be glorified and exalted. In Your matchless name I pray, Amen.
