How to Have a Fruitful Life?

Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
21 May
Dear friend, today the Lord says to you as in John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and me in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me, you can do nothing.” When you look at a tree, if a branch of a tree is cut off from it, it will fall down, dry and die; but then if a branch sticks on to the tree continuously, it will bear much fruit. The same is with our lives also. Only when you stay close to God constantly, you will bear much fruit.

Twelve disciples were staying close to Jesus and they were going wherever He went, but then one disciple Judas left Jesus because he followed the ways of the evil one. As a result of it, he hanged himself and died, but then look at the life of John – the favorite disciple of Jesus. As in John 13:23. John loved Jesus, and he was reclining close to the bosom of Jesus, so the Lord blessed the life of John and he lived long. History says John was the disciple who lived the longest.
Not only that, the Lord showed him the secrets of Heaven. In the island of Patmos, the Lord appeared before him and the Lord revealed everything about His Second coming, and today he has written the Book of Revelations; and everything is written about the second coming of the Lord Jesus there. John had a special placed in the heart of Jesus, just because he loved the Lord Jesus. He loved Jesus till the end and was constantly having communion with Jesus that is why he bore much fruit. He will make you also to bear fruit.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,

Thank You for today’s promise. Father, help me to have a close and constant communion with You so that I will bear much fruit and glorify You through my life and bring others to You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
