From condemnation to redemption!
Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
Beloved, one day people brought before Jesus, a woman who was caught in sin. They said to Jesus that the woman was caught up in adultery, according to the law, she should be punished and they wanted to know what Jesus would say. Jesus declared,“Then neither do I condemn you,“Go now and leave your life of sin.” (John 8:11) Jesus did not call her as ‘sinner’ and He did not punish for her sin. Instead, he said "Go in peace; Do not sin!" Jesus cleansed her from her sin and changed her life. (John 8:3-11) My child, do not say, “I am a sinner”. The Lord says, come out of our all your sinful ways and will accept you as my own child. Surely, He will cleanse you from all your sins. The Bible says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin” (1John 1:7).
No sin will destroy you. Jesus destroyed the roof of sin with his precious blood. Today, He has the same authority. Jesus came into this world and gave his precious blood to save us from sin and bring peace in our lives. Several years ago, we went to a sugar mill to see how they make sugar. First, they squeeze the sugarcane in a machine and get the sugarcane juice. The juice was yellow in color. On the other side, this juice was mixed with an acid, which was blue in color. When the two mixtures, mixed together, it turned into pure white liquid. The liquid was frozen and it turned into white sugar. This is exactly what the blood of Jesus does in our life. Even though we are full of sin, when we look at him, His holy blood when it is poured upon us will cleanse us from all sins. The Bible says, “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world” (1John 2:2). Today, God wants to show his compassion to each one of you. There is no end for his compassion. His mercy will cleanse each one of us. No matter what our situation is;the Lord is going to make us holy like Him. Surely you will receive the same mercy. The Lord says to you, “Go in peace; Do not sin!” God’s compassion will be revealed in your lives. Surrender yourself to the Lord and He will cleanse you and make you His own and you will be a blessing to others.
Loving Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You. Cleanse me with Your precious blood and make me Your child. Lord, take away the things that displease and help me to live a life that pleases You. Let Your peace and joy fill my life and my home. Lord, use me to as an instrument and bring Your love and peace to others. I give You all glory, honor and praise. Amen.
