Dearly Beloved,
When we allow God to work on our behalf, the result will be 100% correct. Unfortunately, we don’t submit to Him completely. Sometimes, when the answers to your prayers are delayed, you want to work it out on your own. In other words, you rely on your own strength, wisdom, experience and think to yourself, “well, I can do it”. And sadly, there comes the downfall. Therefore, remember what the bible says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”(Proverb 3:5)

It can be dangerous when you want to push you your own efforts to make something work in your life. And this happens, when you don’t fear the Lord and trust on your abilities and talents. You may experience many things not up to the mark in certain areas of your life it could be your marriage, your business, your job, your studies, even then don’t rely on your strength, but call unto God. When you start trusting the Lord, and fear Him alone, you will avoid all kinds of evil, thus avoid any unforeseen harm.
Only when you love God, will you fear Him. You will soon start finding solutions to your problems, when you give God the first place in your life. And this attitude of yours is, pleasing to Heavenly Father. He will not just leave you like that He, will exalt you and make everything perfect you. When you trust the lord, bible calls such person, “Blessed”, as mentioned in Jeremiah 17:7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.” So, trust the Lord always, walk in His ways and He will make you fruitful and will honor you.

In this context, I would like to share a real-life incident. In my college days, there was a very intelligent boy in our class. He was studious, brilliant and excelled in all class activities. Once, we all witnessed an unfortunate event in his life. During, the exam, the professor in haste seized his answer script, as the time was running out. To our surprise, bits of paper with the correct answers started to fall from in between his sheets. Though he was intelligent, he lacked self-confidence and so resorted to such a disgraceful act. This sinful deed ultimately ruined his peace of mind and career. He lost everything.

Yes, my dear friend, this is what happens, when you lean on your own understanding. You should be strong in the lord, and have the faith that He will make things work out for you. Depart from evil and let God rule over you. Let Him take full control of all the aspects of your life. Then you will witness a victorious life. Never lean on your understanding, no matter how tough the situation. Lean only on God, He will establish His plans for you gradually.
Loving God,
I pray that you be glorified in my life. Help me, guide me, lead me in all the ways of my life. I don’t want to rely on my understanding but want to put my complete trust in you. Because it’s you alone, who will work out the best for my life.
In Jesus’ most precious name I pray,
