Have Your Way In My Life

Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
11 Jun
There are times when you feel lonely, left out and nobody to care for you. God allows it to happen in your life so that you submit yourself fully under the mighty hands of Jesus who has promised to stay with you, even to the end ofthe age (Matthew 28:20).

There are umpteen number of promises of God for you. All you have to do to avail these promises are to believe it, profess it and receive it! Let not the troubling situation in your life waver your faith in the Lord and in any of His promises. The Bible reminds us, “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves; He will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17). He alone can help you and bring you out of the miry clay and grant you victory over all your problems. This is what the Lord wants from you, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time” (1 Peter 5:6).
In the scriptures, we read about the prophet Jeremiah, who is famously known as the ‘weeping prophet’. God chose him through whom He could convey His message to the people. Jeremiah pleaded to God on behalf of the people for the remission of their sins and for their transformation. He was similar to Jesus in a way that he was full of love, compassion, courage and cried out to the Lord for the people.

My dear friends, God has called you to build His Kingdom. Nothing will shake you because He has filled you with His Spirit. You will not be moved, nothing can push you down as the Almighty God is with you. Just like God touched Jeremiah and healed him of his speech impediment (Jeremiah 1:9), He will touch you, strengthen you and use you for His glory. Let nothing hinder God’s plan for your life, not even your physical weakness. Just submit to Him and allow Him to work in your life. Even if you encounter a painful situation, just rely on Him alone and He will restore your happiness. The Lord asks us today just like how He asked Jeremiah if he would stand for Him? (Jeremiah 1:7,8).

I want to encourage you today to cling on to His words and not to get disturbed by any tough situations you face. He will give you the boldness of a lion to carry His purpose and be used for His glory. So, fill the gap and do not use your imperfection as an excuse to limit His work for you and through you.
Prayer:
Father God, I come before you with all my shortcomings and pray that you fill me with your Holy Spirit. Use me like how you used Jeremiah to proclaim your holy and blessed Word in this world.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen
